I built a company.
I'm John Malecki. Former NFL lineman. I started a YouTube channel in my buddies garage in 2013 to fund a silly dream, and somewhere along the way it became a media company — 2.57M subs, 4.1M combined reach, a team, a product and multi million dollar e-com business, and a P&L that doesn't care whether I post this week.
Most creator advice comes from people whose only product is creator advice. I'm not one of them. I still build furniture. I still run a shop. I am still in the trenches every day. The Playbook is the operating manual I wish I'd had — written from inside the business, not the green room.
